Unhappy Needle

My planned ruffle was not a success. I guess I tried to force too many stitches into too small a space. This was the result.

I don't think it can be fixed, so I'll need to replace it. Meanwhile I've ripped out the offending stitches and am back to a plain garter stitch scarf. I guess it will have to be a crochet ruffle.

I've had that happen to a few of my knitpicks cables too. :( Not very durable unfortunately. My last one went "ping" trying to do a knitted edging on a heavy cabled blanket, with about 50 or so stitches all making a break for freedom at once. Eek! I wound up forking out for a fixed Addi circular. They're much tougher when you treat 'em rough!

Oh, that makes me feel a bit better. I felt guilty for hurting my precious circular needle!
